I see lots of DJs who always play with their caps lock on and/or still hit shift for playback keys (such as the cue points on each deck). Â To some that’s not really a big deal, but there’s a setting in serato that will end the need for the shift key and caps lock. All you have to do is make sure the check box in the picture is unchecked. Â You can get to this setting by clicking in this order in serato: setup -> playback tab
Now there’s no need to worry about it! Plus on slow nights when you’re on Twitter /Â Facebook you won’t end up typing like a maniac.
